The location ; Bere Regis, Dorset.
Just a few days to go now, weather looks settled (I'm currently praying to all the weather gods!!) and a quick course rekkie proved very positive with ground conditions much improved. A 5.5 mile lap today took me 35minutes, (I would see myself as pretty average when it comes to speed and fitness!!) good varied course with a few testing climbs, a couple of 'slightly damp' patches and some great technical single track and descents. There will be a shorter course option making an approx. 4 mile lap.
Its not to late to enter, either online or by post using the entry form below. Or you can just turn up on the day, the course will be open from 10.00am and close at 4.00pm with the range of test bikes available from the get go.
There will be food and drinks available, a jet wash (hopefully not needed too much!) toilets on site and a 'puncture marshall' will be circulating the course to rescue any unlucky riders.
Felt bicycles have today confirmed their participation and will be bringing 6 bikes including full suspension and a carbon hardtail model.
So get your entry in, if you haven't already, and we will see you there.
N.B The entry fee is re-fundable if you purchase a cycle from Mud, Sweat & Gears during 2009
